Part of the PGA TOUR’s TPC Network of premier clubs, TPC San Francisco Bay at Stonebrae’s David McLay Kidd-designed championship golf course serves as the centerpiece to a remarkable golf oasis etched into the terraced East Bay Hills overlooking San Francisco Bay’s San Mateo Bridge. The Scottish-influenced course balances playability with beauty, providing an enjoyable challenge for scratch golfers and novices alike.
The course is complemented by an expansive practice facility and impeccable personalized service. A luxurious 32,000 square-foot Craftsman-inspired clubhouse is planned, featuring a health and wellness center, tennis courts, a 25-meter six-lane pool, upscale dining, a full-service golf shop, elegant banquet and meeting facilities and men’s and women’s locker rooms.
In partnership with the Santa Cruz based Jordan and Kyra Memorial Foundation, dedicated to pediatric cancer research and family care (www.jordanandkyra.org), TPC San Francisco Bay is proud to support the San Leandro based George Mark Children’s House beginning in 2009 through its hosting of the Nationwide Tour Stonebrae Classic, being held the week of March 30th-April 5th, 2009 with live coverage on The Golf Channel all four days. The Nationwide Tour professionals will be playing for a purse of $600,000 with the winner taking home $108,000.
